BLAST Technique

BLAST Technique (Bi-lateral Analysis and Stimulation Treatment)

BLAST is a revolutionary way to treat PTSD and Trauma.

“The BLAST Technique® was created in 2008 by psychotherapist Nick Davies in order to speed up the process and efficacy of PTSD and trauma treatment for an all-round better and more efficient experience for the client.”

I have been very lucky to be part of the growth of this technique and I also created one of the BLAST self-care protocols. I have facilitated on many workshops with Nick to help other therapists to gain knowledge of this brilliant tool which draws heavily from research of world leading neuroscientists such as Joseph LeDoux (

I am one of ONLY a small number of Advanced BLAST Technique® Practitionors in the world today.

So How Does It Work?

Your brain processes memories and experiences through the emotional right (hemisphere) side of the brain and then through the logical left (hemisphere) side of the brain. Normal everyday events pass though the thalamus both sides of the brain to be processed via the corpus callosum.

Memories aren’t stored in just one part of the brain. Different types are stored across different, interconnected brain regions. For explicit memories – which are about events that happened to you (episodic), as well as general facts and information (semantic) – there are three important areas of the brain: the hippocampus, the neocortex and the amygdala. Implicit memories, such as motor memories, rely on the basal ganglia and cerebellum. Short-term working memory relies most heavily on the prefrontal cortex.

PTSD and Trauma is beleived stored or frozen in the right side of the brain therfor the memory has not completed the processing cycle. This is why people continuously suffer regular fashbacks and nightmares / night terrors due to the memory or event not processing as the brain doesn’t know how to process the traumas or PTSD and complete the normal processing.

PTSD Brain Scan

BLAST Technique® helps the brain to complete the processing by way of an eye movement technique which can include the use of light, this essentially moves the memory from the right to the left hemisphere of the brian helping the brian to process the memory the correct way.

Once the process is complete the client becomes emotional desensitised from the event and will not have to suffer ever again as the results are permanent.

It has been tested by many of the people and therapists around the world and the results have been described as life changing for the client.

Often only one session is required however more complex cases may require more.

I myself has seen and treated 100’s of clients successfully over the years. I regularly hear from old clients telling me they have their life back.

If you or anyone you you know would benifit from Blast then please contact me HERE GET YOUR LIFE BACK !
