I’ve always believed in having several tools on hand for any given job, including changework.
There are some amazing methods available to help you.
Advanced BLAST Technique® Practitioner
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) was the probably the most effective tool out there for dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Trauma, but as with anything, things develop and change over time.
Nick Davies’ BLAST Technique® is an Amygdala Desensitising Technique (ADT) which has been created and developed to work faster and more effectively with PTSD and trauma.
It has now been effectively used thousands of time by trained BLAST Technique® Practitioners for things like serious accidents, violent assaults, rape and child abuse and it has changed the lives of many people.
EMDR is a remarkable treatment method used to heal the symptoms of trauma, as well as other emotional conditions. EMDR is the most effective and rapid method for healing PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) as shown by extensive scientific research studies.
Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT)
Integral Eye Movement Technique (IEMT) is a developing area brief change work that explores the area of undesired emotions and our ways of being. The process explores the question, “How did we learn to feel the way that we feel?” and opens up the possibility of creating the appropriate change in our emotional lives. I was trained by Andrew T Austin the creator of IEMT
Metaphors of Movement Training
I am also trained in the use of Metaphor, how to engage them at a physiological and neurological level —a completely new approach to overcoming stuck states and creating effective movement towards personal goals.
Provocative Change Works
Provocative Change Works is inspired by Frank Farrelly’s Provocative Therapy and Milton Erickson’s work. PCW is a method of communication which creates the possibility for dynamic change in an accelerated and conversational manner. The practitioner provokes new ideas and feelings changing the client’s previous “stuck state of thinking” to create new, long lasting and measurable possibilities.
Please Note: I’m currently working with Nick Kemp and continue my training and understanding of this model having enrolled on a year long ongoing training with the aim to become a practitioner at the end of the course.
